Manor Ben Abu

Manor Ben Abu, is 24 years old and a second-year Government student at Reichman University. She is originally from Poriya in the North of Israel and currently residing in Herzliya. She completed four years of military service in Unit 8200, where she studied Arabic and served as a commander leading a Monitoring and Production Team. Manor continues to serve as an active reservist, an ongoing experience that reinforces her leadership, responsibility, and teamwork capabilities. Alongside her background in acting and eight years of playing competitive volleyball, Manor was actively involved in the HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed youth movement as both a participant and a counselor. Together, these experiences have fostered her strong communication skills, passion for mentorship, and commitment to building meaningful interpersonal connections.

 

 

 

Thomas Hutzler

Thomas Hutzler, 22 years old, was born in São Paulo, Brazil, lived in Panama for 6 years, and now lives in Tel Aviv. He made Aliyah with his family at 18 years old and served in the International Cooperation Corps in the IDF. Thomas is a second year Government student in the Diplomacy & Global Studies track at Reichman University, and has participated in many different clubs, including the Debate and MUN. He enjoys going out with his friends and family to the beach, hikes, or just to a really good barbecue. He is looking forward to meeting and helping new students feel welcomed and making the most out of their time in the university.

 

 

 

Shoval Nitzachon

Shoval Nizahon is a 23 year old, originally from Florida, USA. She is a third year Communications student, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction and Marketing. Shoval moved to Israel at the age of 18 to draft as a lone soldier and became a commander of olim chadashim at Michve Alon. In her free time she enjoys being at the beach especially during sunsets in Tel Aviv. Her life motto is everything happens for a reason - trust the process. She chose to study at Reichman University because it’s a home of opportunities and has a great support system. She is looking forward to being a peer counselor for new students in the RRIS.
