A special announcement was made yesterday, March 16th 2020, by Prof. Uriel Reichman, President and Founder of IDC Herzliya, regarding the Corona Crisis and IDC preparedness for online classes and remote learning

"We are currently in the midst of a major, developing drama, and we are operating amid great uncertainty... But in every crisis there is also hidden opportunity. I have no doubt that if we are adaptable and demonstrate creativity, we will also learn and grow from the current predicament.

Prof. Uriel Reichman, President and Founder of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, today issued a special announcement on the challenge IDC Herzliya is facing and the ways in which it is doing so.

Given the possibility that the government guidelines on dealing with the coronavirus will become more stringent, the IDC Herzliya management is preparing intensely for the transition to online classes and remote learning and provides the student academic and personal consulting.

"Even though this crisis is new to us in its nature, we have already known many crises and challenges. States of emergency are not something new in Israel. We have on our side our resilience as a society and as a community, and we have already proven our ability to present a united front, strengthen one another, and meet difficult challenges", said Prof. Reichman.
