The Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS) offers a wide variety of social and cultural activities to enrich student life on campus. All events are held in English, and most are open to students in the Hebrew tracks, to encourage integration between the Israeli and International students.

 

Campus Life at the RRIS ensures life outside the classroom is engaging and impactful for all RRIS Students. We help international students embrace Israeli culture through diverse trips, events, and programs that make settling into this vibrant country enjoyable. 

 

At Reichman University, there’s always a way to get involved, explore, and make a difference. Join (or run!) a club, watch (or star!) in performances, give back (or organize!) via community service  - and most importantly, make friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Orientation Trip


    The orientation trip offers incoming students a full day of fun, Zionism, nature, team building, and the best way to kick off their experience at the RRIS!

  • International Festival


    The RRIS invites our students to represent their home country by opening a stand at the yearly International Food Festival. All students and faculty are welcome to enjoy the tastes, smells, and sounds of the many countries.

  • North Trip


    The trip to northern Israel is a great way to enjoy two days of bonding and connecting with fellow students while hiking, river rafting and exploring the extraordinary views. The trip is open to RRIS students only.

  • Israeli Culture Tours & Trips


    Throughout the academic year, the RRIS Campus Life offers students different themed trips around Israel, providing a glimpse to Israel’s culture through food, street art, fashion, and more.

  • Tazuz


    Tazuz offers different sports clubs, tournaments, and recreational activities for students to enjoy connecting students through sports, hands-on activities, and student community building.

  • Jewish Enrichment


    RRIS collaborates with JLIC to provide students with opportunities for Jewish enrichment through programs and activities both on and off campus.

  • Ambassadors' Club


    In cooperation with the “StandWithUs” organization, the Ambassadors’ Club stands as the premier program in Israel Advocacy for International students at Reichman University.

  • DJ Workshop


    Join five exciting sessions with renowned DJs Nadav Shpilman and Ohad Paran. Learn with advanced DJ equipment, connect with fellow music enthusiasts, and showcase your mixes at a premier Tel Aviv club!

  • RUNI Idol Live


    Reichman University Idol Live welcomes all students to audition for this musical competition, where 8 finalists will perform live and compete for the winning place – which offers a free professional demo-recording.

  • Students in Kayaks

    Kayak Club


    Each semester, the RRIS Campus Life is taking a group of 15 students to kayak in the Mediterranean Sea at Hertzlyia Marina.

  • Hanukkah Candle Lighting


    The RRIS hosts an annual Candle Lighting Ceremony during Hannukah, where our outstanding students are asked to light the hannukiah candles. It is an evening filled with delicious food, Hanukkah songs, and lights!

  • Purim – Megilah Reading


    The RRIS ends the fast of Ta’anit Esther with Megillah reading and refreshments, welcoming all students to show off their creative Purim costumes!

  • RRIS Poland Delegation


    The Student Union leads a delegation to Poland where the students experience a moving journey, fostering empathy, connection, and a commitment to preserving Jewish history for future generations.

  • Zikaron Ba Salon


    On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the RRIS proudly hosts the annual Zikaron BaSalon initiative, inviting a Holocaust survivor to share their personal testimony in an intimate and meaningful setting.

  • Yad Vashem Museum Tour


    During the week of Holocaust Memorial Day, the RRIS organizes an English-speaking tour of the Yad Vashem Museum in Jerusalem, followed by an engaging and open conversation with a Holocaust survivor.

  • Yom Hazikaron Ceremony


    On the eve of the National Day of Remembrance for Israeli fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, the RRIS is honored to lead a delegation to the MASA Ceremony at the Armored Corps museum in Latrun.

  • Tzahal 101


    RRIS provides students a great opportunity to learn about the IDF, meet with army specialists, and hear from Reichman University graduates currently serving in the army.

  • Shabbat Dinners


    The RRIS hosts Shabbat Dinners year-round, offering students a chance to gather, enjoy a meal, connect with peers, and celebrate the week's turnover together.
