There was overwhelming agreement on the importance of handling and attention both at the level of government officials, according to which a correct and clear policy is required in the face of the challenges that will prevent multidimensional strategic surprises in the future, and with an emphasis on the aspects and meaning of national and social resilience as a central pillar of Israel's strength. This is also the case at the corporate level. There was an understanding that it is important that we continue with high intensity and proportionality, by using tools interlaced between the brown and green worlds.
It was emphasized that we have one shift and one world and during our shift it is important that we do everything to preserve the world for future generations.
Yair Avidan, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Arison Center for ESG, who also sat at the head of the discussion, said that: "The implementation of the ESG worlds constitutes a leadership agenda. This is part of a world of ethical leadership. It is part of culture. It is true that it will form part of the corporate DNA. Its realization requires personal and collective leadership by shareholders, boards of directors, management, investors and financiers, policymakers and other stakeholders. It seems that we are at a time when each of the players must step up and lead; this leadership is needed to drive a sustainable economy."
