Campus Encounters Project 2025 – Opening Session

Students from the Lauder School of Government, Strategy and Diplomacy met with students from Al-Qasemi College, Baqa al Gharbiyye for the first of five meetings to engage in discourse and mutual learning. The meeting, which took place at Reichman University, started with ice-breakers followed by an interactive lecture about negotiations and conflict resolution. In the second part of the meeting, the students engaged in an open dialogue about life as an Arab/Jew in Israel during the war. The dialogue was candid, moving and above all insightful about the meaning of a shared society in Israel. 
The "Campus Encounters" project, headed by Dr. Lesley Terris and Mr. Arik Segal from Reichman University and Dr. Enas Qadan and Adv. Iman Gara Elmalek from Al-Qasemi College, is supported by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
