About The Therapeutic Clinic at the Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology

 

 

The therapeutic clinic at the Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology at Reichman University is intended for self-referred individuals from the community and for public organizations (such as the educational psychological service, community centers, etc.). The clinic provides psychological assessment and treatment services.

The treatments at the clinic combine different therapeutic approaches based on current theories and research findings, while adapting the approaches to the clients' characteristics. All treatments are accompanied by academic research in order to maintain a standard of excellence in treatment. The clinic is managed by Dr. Rony Shochat Pshedetzky, a clinical psychologist, supervisor and faculty member at the Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology at Reichman University.

*The treatments are available both via Zoom and by phone, and are accessible to those who are unable to physically attend the clinic.

 

Target audience

 

Children and youth (from age 6)

Treatment areas:

  • Parent-child relationship, school adjustment difficulties.
  • Social and interpersonal problems, depression and anxiety.
  • Cognitive-behavioral therapy and parent-child therapy.
  • Group therapy for adolescents focusing on post-Corona routine return.
  • Focused parenting therapy.
  • Treatments are accompanied by parent counseling.

 

Adults

Treatment areas:

  • Difficulties in interpersonal relationships, anxiety and depression.
  • People in the "middle of life" who are at a personal or professional crossroads.
  • Seniors experiencing loneliness or depression, and children of elderly parents dealing with emotional burden and difficulties in caring for the elderly parent.

 

Couple therapy

Problems and difficulties that arise within relationships, such as the integration of couple's relationship and parenthood with the changing life challenges.

 

Assessment

Full psycho-diagnostic assessment, including attention and concentration.

 

Therapists at the clinic

The therapists at the clinic are psychologists in the process of clinical specialization (with a master's degree in clinical psychology of children or adults) and practitioners (master's students in clinical psychology of children or adults). All therapists work under the close supervision of senior clinical psychologists with extensive experience in treatment and in the training of psychologists, who are licensed supervisors in mental health treatment and assessment on behalf of the Ministry of Health and are faculty members at the School of Psychology at Reichman University. Clinic clients are provided with subsidized psychiatric consultation services.

 

Fees

The treatments are offered at a discounted price. The fee for treatment with a student is NIS 150, and the fee for treatment with a trainee is NIS 280 per session, NIS 320 for couple therapy, and NIS 3,800 for a full psycho-diagnostic assessment.

 

Confidentiality

The referral to the clinic and the information collected within the framework of the treatment are kept confidential, with strict adherence to professional ethical standards.
