Guidance for Public Institutions

The clinic will offer professional guidance to therapeutic professionals in public systems (such as school counselors, educational psychologists, and others).
In the past decade, we have witnessed a significant and alarming increase in the violent behavior of children in schools (from elementary to high school). This violence often leaves parents and the education system's professionals feeling helpless in the face of these phenomena. Therefore, school counselors and educational psychologists are required to address this problematic behavior of adolescents and young children, which is also manifested in social networks, where verbal violence and harmful messages are expressed.
Another area that requires strengthening and guidance for professionals is the suicidal behavior of adolescents and even children. Recent research and clinical impressions have shown that dangerous and suicidal behaviors of adolescents and children can be identified in advance, and therefore it is important to identify these dangerous elements among young people.
The guidance will focus on these two central areas: the prevention of suicide and the prevention of violence among children and adolescents. The guidance is integrative and combines elements from various proven therapeutic approaches, such as the cognitive-behavioral approach and interpersonal approaches.
